Contraindications 

1. Levodropropizine should not be used if you have the following conditions:
    1)if you are allergic to this medications or any of  the other ingredients in the tablets.
    2)In patients with excess mucus production leads to airway obstruction.
    3)Administration of Levodropropizine in patients with reduced mucociliary function (Kartagener′s syndrome, Ciliary Dyskinesia) .
    4)if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, or if you intend to become pregnant.
    5)  Severe liver impairment.

2. PRECAUTIONS
   1) severe renal insufficiency and severe renal failure.
   2) Elderly patients.
   3) Children under 2 years of age.

3. Side-effects
   1)Gastrointestinal : nausea, heartburn, Dyspepsia, diarrhea, vomiting.
   2)Central Nervous System : fatigue, weakness, coma, headache, dizziness etc.
   3)Circulatory system : palpitations.
   4)Dermatologic Pruritus : In very rare causes there can be an allergic reaction.
 
4. Genenral
   Do not drive vehicles or operate heavy machineries as it may cause dizziness. Do not consume alcohol while taking levodropropizine as it may worsen the side effects.

5. Drug Interactions
   It is also less likely to cause sedation in treated patients.

6. Pregnancy and breast-feeding
    Levodropropizine is contraindicated in women wanting to get pregnant or already pregnant as its safety of use is not documented.

7. Storage
   1)Keep it where children cannot reach it.
   2)Store in the original package. Do not store or place capsules in any other container.
